Study Overseas in Australia
Australia has the 3rd highest number of international students in the world behind only the UK and the USA. This isn’t surprising if we consider Australia has seven of the top 100 universities in the world! The highest ranked university is the Australian National University (ANU) which is ranked top 20 in the World by QS. Australia has also produced 15 Nobel prize winners and every day over 1 billion people around the world rely on Australian discoveries and innovations – including penicillin, ultrasound and Wi-Fi.
Australia has 5 of the 30 best cities in the world for students based on quality of life, student mix, and employer activity. The capital city of Western Australia, Perth, is only 4.5 hours away from Singapore. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane can all be reached within 8 hours. Australia’s proximity and familiarity to Singapore make Australia a popular education destination for Singaporeans. There are about 3,000 Singaporean students join Australian universities every year.
